The Earth is facing many serious problems today. The depletion of the ozone layer, the rising temperatures because of the greenhouse effect, the pollution of air, water, and soil, noise pollution, and deforestation are just of the few problems Earth is facing. If we all begin to work together to save her, it can be done.

Many generations of humans have contributed to these problems but they are at a peak today. We know we need to recycle and conserve our resources but all of us don’t. The Industrial Revolution has given us a lifestyle full of modern convienences that we don’t want to give up. We will either begin to practice conservation techniques or risk losing all of our creature comforts.

With gasoline prices reaching all time highs, it just makes sense to begin practicing these techniques. Not only will you conserve energy, you will save money. If we don’t begin to voluntarily recycle and conserve water and energy, the government will eventually mandate that we do. Previous generations have abused the Earth’s resources. It is up to us to save the Earth.
